More than a website. Ongoing peace of mind. Straight answers on pricing, timelines, SEO, and how I work with local Australian businesses.
Many web development agencies build your website, hand it over, and move on to the next project. I do things differently. I aim to become your online sidekick, looking after your website as your business grows.
That’s why I use a simple monthly subscription instead of a large one off project fee.
A traditional agency might charge $15,000+ upfront, then add monthly fees for hosting, care and SEO on top. With me, your website, hosting, updates and ongoing improvements are all covered by one predictable monthly price.
Need something changed? Just contact me. I’ll take care of it.
What you pay, what's included, and how billing works.
Traditional web projects often come with a large upfront build fee before you even see a live site. I use a simple monthly plan instead - no big upfront fee, cancel any month.
Fixed monthly plans in Australian dollars:
There are no surprise retainers unless you ask for extra work. Custom booking systems, ecommerce, and large migrations are quoted separately.
See pricing or request a quote.
Starter is a 5-page responsive site, SEO and AI search ready from launch, hosting, a contact form, click-to-call, and 30 minutes of content changes each month.
Growth adds more pages, a blog, suburb and service pages, local SEO and AI search setup, and 60 minutes of changes.
Pro is the ongoing package: up to 20 pages, monthly local content, an ongoing SEO and AI search check, ranking and enquiry reports, priority updates, and unlimited changes (see “What does unlimited changes mean?” in the Pricing FAQs).
If you need ecommerce, bookings, or a complex integration, I’ll quote that separately.
Custom booking systems, ecommerce, complex integrations, and large content migrations are quoted separately.
If you need any of that, say so in the contact form and I’ll discuss it as part of the quote.
Yes. The monthly plan is the ongoing cost. It covers hosting, maintenance, backups, security, and keeping the site running.
The amount depends on the package: Starter is $249/mo, Growth is $349/mo, and Pro is $499/mo. Those prices are on the pricing page.
There are no extra retainers unless you ask for work outside the plan.
My standard packages are for business and lead-generation websites.
Ecommerce, booking platforms, and other complex functionality need a custom quote. Say so on the contact form and I’ll discuss it.
No. Standard website management plans do not lock you into a long-term contract.
You stay on the monthly plan for as long as you want the site hosted and maintained.
You can cancel the monthly service at any time. Standard plans do not lock you into a long-term contract unless I specifically agree one for a custom project.
When the service ends, I stop hosting the site and it goes offline. Your domain stays yours. I can provide all source files so your site can continue on.
The website is a managed service I host and maintain while you stay on a plan. You keep control of your domain name.
Hosting, updates, and the live site are part of the monthly service. They are not a one-off asset you take away and run yourself.
Unlimited changes covers reasonable updates to your existing website, such as changing text, images, services, pricing, contact details, or making small layout adjustments.
There’s no fixed number of requests, but changes must be reasonable in scope and relate to your existing website. Large redesigns, substantial new functionality, or work outside the original website scope may be quoted separately at BestCompare’s discretion.
On Pro, changes are handled one active request at a time, at the front of the queue.
How a project moves from first message to launch.
Starter and Growth sites typically go live in 2 weeks. Pro sites can be live in as little as 3 business days from design acceptance, once I have everything I need from you.
The path is the same either way: you get in touch, I meet, you sign off the design, I build, then the site goes live. Dates are in Australian business days.
See the timeline on pricing, or the full process on How it works.
Send a message with a few details about your business, the site you have now (if any), and what you want customers to do.
I’ll come back with questions, a timeline, and a fixed quote in AUD. You don’t need a long brief - a short note is enough to start.
The full path is on How it works.
Yes. If you already own a domain, I can connect it to the new website. You remain in control of the domain.
I can help you choose one and set it up. The domain is registered in your name, so you stay in control of it.
The website and business email are separate services. I can help you configure the email you already have, or point you to an appropriate email provider.
I am happy to talk custom solutions if you would like a 100% managed solution.
Yes. I can replace an outdated site while keeping your existing domain and, where it still works, your existing content and page structure.
I manage the hosting and technical side, so if something breaks, contact me and I’ll investigate.
You don’t need to deal with hosting providers, plugins, or technical updates yourself.
Who writes the words and supplies the photos on your site.
No. Send me the change and I’ll put it on the site.
Hours, photos, services, staff bios, and blog posts are all covered. You don’t need to log into a CMS or learn a dashboard. Layout and styling stay consistent as the site grows.
Starter includes 30 minutes of changes a month, Growth includes 60, and Pro is unlimited.
No. I take care of the website for you. You don’t need to learn a website builder or spend evenings updating pages.
If you need something changed, contact me and I’ll do it.
Not necessarily. If you already have good copy, I can use it. Otherwise I can help structure and write the content from what you tell me about the business, services, and locations.
A short brief is enough to start. I’ll ask for anything else I need.
More on content, photos, and revisions: How it works.
No. I can use suitable professional stock imagery where it fits. If you have your own photos, logo, or branding, I can use those too.
See How it works for what happens if you send photos later.
How I help customers find you on Google and AI search.
GEO is generative engine optimisation. It’s how I give AI tools like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, or Perplexity the facts they’d need to name you for a plumber, clinic, or café nearby. No reputable developer can guarantee an AI citation - the goal is a strong, accurate foundation.
Local SEO still wins the map pack. GEO is the extra layer so AI search has facts it can cite: services, suburbs, hours, and clear answers.
Growth and Pro include GEO setup. Pro keeps it current with monthly content.
Yes. Starter and Growth are built SEO and AI search ready from launch - technical SEO, structured content, local relevance, and AI search best practices.
Growth adds local SEO and AI search setup: service areas, local content, metadata, and structured data, done when I build your site.
Pro adds an ongoing SEO and AI search check - each month I review your site’s key SEO and AI search signals and make reasonable adjustments where needed.
Broader SEO campaigns (active keyword targeting, content marketing, link building) can be quoted separately.
No reputable web developer can guarantee a number one Google ranking.
What I can do is build the site correctly, make it fast and search-friendly, and give it a strong foundation for ongoing SEO.
Yes. I structure the site around the services and locations you actually operate in, so search engines can tell when you’re relevant to a local search.
Growth and Pro include local SEO and GEO setup, plus Google Business Profile alignment. See SEO & GEO.
Changing a website can affect rankings if it is handled poorly.
When I replace an existing site, I take existing URLs, page content, and redirects into account so I don’t create unnecessary disruption.
Quick answers to the questions that come up most often.
I’m based in Sydney, but work with local businesses across Australia.
Cafés, clinics, tradies, and other operators anywhere in the country are a fit. Meetings can be remote. The site is still built for how people nearby your business locations actually search.
Most web agencies build your site, hand it over, and move on. I stay involved with ongoing updates, hosting and improvements for one simple monthly price.
A traditional agency can still be the right choice for a large or unusual project. See Why choose me for an honest comparison.
Yes. Every site is designed to work on phones, tablets, and desktops.
That matters for local businesses: a lot of customers will find you on a phone and decide whether to call or enquire from there.
Yes. I build lightweight sites with performance in mind, not bloated website-builder templates and extra plugins.
Fast hosting and Core Web Vitals are part of the work, so the page loads quickly on suburban 4G as well as on a desktop.
Yes. I include the features local businesses actually use: enquiry forms, maps, phone buttons, email links, and clear calls to action.
Contact forms and click-to-call are in every plan.
website builders are a good fit if you want to build and maintain everything yourself.
This service is for business owners who would rather have someone take care of it. I build the site, host it, and handle updates so you can focus on running the business.

Tell me about your business. I’ll come back with a clear scope, timeline, and fixed quote in Australian dollars.
